How well do you know yourself? Before you start this program, note down your weight and your body-fat percentage. Measure your waist, thighs, hips, stomach, arms, chest, and neck. If you can squeeze a metabolic test into your budget, so much the better. This test will tell you how many calories your body burns when it’s at rest.
You should make a list of the things that make you happy, as well as those that make you angry. As you learn more about yourself, you will realize that you are solely responsible for your successes and your failures. Nobody can force you to do what you don’t want to do. You’ll make mistakes along the way, but mistakes don’t mean the end of the road. They mean you’re human. So when you fall down and get dirty, just pick yourself up and keep moving.
And remember: You can do this!
